Microarray Wash Trays (Package of 5)
|
Item Number: MWT
|
Arrayit Microarray Wash Trays (Package of 5) provide convenient and affordable molded plastic trays (15.4 x 10.4 x 2.2 cm) with a hinged closing lid for processing microarrays configured in hybridization cassettes that contain 4 standard glass substrate slides (1 x 25 x 76 mm). Arrayit multi-well hybridization cassettes AHC4X24, AHC4X16, AHC4X8, MMH96 and cassettes can be used in conjunction with Arrayit Microarray Wash Trays to allow efficient processing while conserving buffer consumption. Arrayit Microarray Wash Trays offer the advantage of allowing blocking, washing and rinsing without the need to remove the slides from the cassette base. Microarray Wash Trays are compatible with Arrayit's entire line of DNA and protein microarray buffers, 5 trays per package.
Tools - Wash Trays - Microarray Wash Trays (Package of 5) to Speed and Simplify the DNA and Protein Microarray Processing in 4-Slide Hybridization Cassettes

Arrayit Microarray Wash Trays (Package of 5) provide convenient and affordable molded plastic trays (15.4 x 10.4 x 2.2 cm) with a hinged closing lid for processing microarrays configured in hybridization cassettes that contain 4 standard glass substrate slides (1 x 25 x 76 mm). Microarray Wash Trays are manufactured using durable plastic for compatibility with Arrayit DNA and protein microarray buffers and other aqueous solutions. Microarray Wash Trays can be used in conjunction with laboratory rockers and shakers to implement buffer mixing during use.

Short Protocol
1. Add 200 ml buffer to the Microarray Wash Tray.
2. Remove the lid from the base of the cassette.
3. Insert the cassette base containing the slides into the wash tray.
4. Place the wash tray on a laboratory rocker or shaker.
5. Wash for 5 minutes with gentle mixing.
6. Decant the wash buffer, add 200 ml fresh buffer and wash for 5 minutes.
7. Decant the wash buffer, add 200 ml fresh buffer and wash for 5 minutes.
8. Remove slides from the cassette base, rinse briefly in distilled water and spin dry.
9. Scan the microarray slides using a microarray scanner.
10. Quantify the microarray data.
Figure 1. Arrayit Microarray Wash Tray (15.4 x 10.4 x 2.2 cm) containing 200 ml of wash buffer and an Arrayit AHC4X24 hybridization cassette base with 4 microarray slides (1 x 25 x 76 mm). The wash tray can be placed on a laboratory rocker or shaker to mediate buffer mixing. The clear plastic lid can be closed during use to prevent evaporation.
Figure 2. Arrayit Hybridization Cassette AHC4X24 including the lid and base with a capacity for 4 glass substrate slides (1 x 25 x 76 mm). The AHC4X24 base and slides can be processed without removing the slides from the base using Arrayit Microarray Wash Trays (200 ml buffer per wash step).
